  Cards to pass out

The Sun Pyrmaid
¡Hola!

It's getting close to 2 months in the field and 4 in the mission!

Everything is still going good down here. The weather has been really hot the last few days. I hope that it will back off soon.

Sounds like everything is going good for all the people that are emailing me, but I'm sure all is good with everyone.

We have been working more in La Perla ward this month and week. We found 11 new people to teach this week through references and contacting and knocking on doors. We had all the people that we thought would come to church form La Perla make it and really liked it.

The week has been a normal one with the work and what not. We found out more about the Mission at the multi zone conference that we had on Wednesday. There are 5 zones form the east and I think some form the south mission that are going to be in the new mission. All it will be is come 1st of July all those missionaries will be under the new president. And I thinks that is all that is going to happen about the change but IDK for sure.

Today the zone went to Teotihuacan, (The Pyramids that are in the mission). They are really cool and Big. There are two different ones. One is called the sun and the other is the moon.
It was really fun. We had to meet at the DL's house last night at 630 then we sent to the area of the ZL's. We stayed the night with other missionaries in the area. This morning we meet again to leave to go to Teotihuacan. There where 22 of us in the group including the driver and his daughter (I think). It was a small cargo van that was changed into a combi. The driver, his daughter, and 2 elders where in the front. the rest of us where in the back. The back was designed for 13 but we had.18 of us in there. All the seats and 3 on the floor. It was packed like sardines. While we where there I bought a Jaguar that is made of some type of black rock for 200 pasos, and a neckless thing of a mans head in a jaguars head for 10 pasos. I will send pictures of those next week.

Thanks for all you all do. Keep it up and keep on the path.
Thanks for everything.

Love,

Elder Templin

¡Hola!

Everything is still going good down here.

The temp has been really high the past few weeks, i guess, but it is starting to back off now. I feels a lot better.

I got my Card back this week. They are cards that have my name and address on them for investigators and members. I paid 180 Pesos for 1000 cards. It's like $16-$18 I will sent a picture next week of them.

We did not have any baptisms this week.We had a fun time this week with trying to get all of our families to church. We had 4 for Refoma and 4 for Perla. Not all of them could come but it was a challange. we ended up with 2 in Refoma and only 1 in Perla, but it's all good.

So we found out today that we are going to be in the Mexico south east when the mission splits. The President said to day in his weekly letter. It's all good because the new mission is going to have all the best baptizing zones in the east mission. I will let you know more when i know more but i thought i would let you know.

Thanks for everything and I love you all.

Thanks for the letters keep sending them its good to hear about everything.

Love,
Elder Templin

¡Hola!

Everything is good this week I'm still here in Mexico walking around talking with people.

Today is the end of the 1st transfer period. Yesterday was the day that we find out if we have to go to the transfers meeting. Nether Elder Medina or myself have transfers. We get to be together the this area at least 6 more weeks. I'm happy because I like this area and Elder Medina. Yesterday after we reported to our district leader Elder Medina decided to play a not so funny joke. He said that I had transfered. He had me and the family Bautista going for 15-20 mins, but he finally told the truth.

This week we were eating in La Perla ward. We worked in that area this week because it was closer to food. We found 4 different families to teach. We have appointments this week with them.

Yesterday Perla, Alfonso, y Belit we confirmed. I baptized Perla and Alfonso. Elder Medina baptized Belit. That's a cool thing to see a family all joining the church together. And we are teaching her brother and almost her mom. Her brother, Erick, is progressing and her mom, Guadalupe, is not ready to listen but is always there when we teach Erick.

The Spanish is coming along the lessons are good but all the other stuff is coming slowly, but its easier to talk and understand.

Thanks for everything hope all is good in your lives. If you want to write and tell me how things are it's jeffery.templin@myldsmail.net

Love you all and miss talking and hanging out. Let me know what you'll want me to write about.

Love,
Elder Templin

¡Hola!

Everything is still going good. Still here working.

This week we had divisions. I was with our district leader in his area and his companion was with mine here in our area. We had them on Wednesday. They started Wednesday at 9am through Thursday at 8am. Things went good with that, I learned that we are put in our companionships for a reason, but I learned from him what I can improve on.

Things were the same the rest of the week.
Today I had my 1st Mexican hair cut. Everythings good and a lot cooler with out as much hair.
Thanks for the letters.
Hope all is well with everyone in their lives. Let me know!

Love you all,
Elder Templin

                                    Elder Templin and Elder Medina

¡Hola!

3 months in the field today and 1 month in Mexico!

Everything is going good down here. My legs are getting used to the none stop going.

We have been teaching more lessons this week. The day goes by fast when we teach a lot.

The week has been good for teaching and preparing people for baptism. This last week we found 8 new investigators, we have taught some of them +2 times. We have a family of 3 set for this next week and 1 set for the following week.

We had a Leadership training with President Hicken Thursday. It was for trainers and the new missionaries. We practiced teaching the 1st lesson we had the opportunity to have the President sit and watch ours. It went good, he liked some things that we did. Before we used the Book of Mormon we taught what is was then used it. After all the practices he talked to the group and said that to the group.

Friday we had to go to immigration to get my card that says that I'm legal. That took all day pretty much.

Thanks for the letters. It good to hear from everyone. Let me know what you want me to write in the email.
Thanks for everything. Love you all, hope all is good.

Love,
Elder Templin
