!Hola¡

Things are going good down here. All is good.

This week we had exchanges with our district leader. Elder Medina and
Elder Hawkes were here in our area and Elder Rivas and I were in their
area. We had that on Wednesday. The day after We had citas and
everything started to work and Elder Medina and I were talking with
people and finding and everything. This week ended up turning out
good. The past few weeks have not been very good but after exchanges
things start to move along. Normally every cycle we have exchange but
since that 1st time in my 5th week in the mission we have not had
them. With the exchanges it recharged our batteries to work together
and find people because everyday all the time we were needing a
little recharge and time away. Everything is good now and we are
thinking that we are going to have exchanges (at least Elder Medina).
We ended up finding 13 new people to teach.

This week we were talking with one of our families that we
baptized(Gerardo y Alicia). Gerardo is having a hard time wanting to
come to church and fell back into some old habits of smoking. We have
another cita with them this week to talk more. That was one of the sad
things this week. The good things were that we found more to teach.

In 8 days it's going to be 6 months in the mission. The time has gone
by really fast. The time in the field more then the time in the MTC
but fast.

Nothing big happened this week so i don't have any pictures to send.
Sorry, I will at least try to send a picture of something every week.

Hope all is good with everyone and that there is not anything big that
has happened. It would be nice to hear from everyone but I know lives
are busy.

Thanks for everything and the love that you all have for me, it helps
to know that there are people at home that love me. Love you all.

Thanks and I love you all.

Love,
Elder Templin

¡Hola!

Everything is going good down here.

The leg is good and the shots are coming along. There are 5 shots and I've had 2, the next is tomorrow.

This week we had the baptism of Maribe's husband, he is the one that had the lost membership record. It went good but long. I got the opportunity to baptize him. So I had the chance to baptize the entire family.

This week was a little tougher on the numbers but the work is coming along and it's fun teaching the people.

Today we had a zone actvticity. We went to Tecamac to a Fun center. We went skating and bowling. It was really fun. I took 5th place in bowling with a 105. We are running fast today because we just got back to the house at 615 and we had a district meeting at 6 so it's going to be a little shorter today sorry.

¡Hola!

Things are good down here. I'm still alive and moving. The Spanish is coming along it's a lot easier to understand people and communicate with them.

This week we had interviews with President Morales on Tuesday. We talked about my family and how things are going in the mission and what I need help with.

On Wednesday we searched for people all day. We found people for citas the next days. Most all the citas this week all fell through. We had a low number week and lots of work to try and find people but they didn't want to listen.

This week we had two baptisms planned but one one went through. The baptism of Jesus, the husband of Gloria that was having problems with the Wof W, Went really good. This past week we went to see him everyday and talk with him. Doing this he is stronger and passed this week without problems. He wanted his brother to baptize him so that made it all the more special.

The other baptism that we had planned was for David, the husband of Maribel. They went to a party on Saturday with the family of Maribel and they got in a fight. Things are good now we spent time yesterday after the other baptism to talk with them. We helped them and today we are going to see when we can to baptize David this week.

This week I had a interesting thing happen. All is good so don't worry but i was bit by a dog in the leg. Everything is fine we went to the doctors to get shots for rabbis today but they were closed. It happened on Friday, there were three dogs playing in the street and we were just walking. They decided to stop playing and started barking and one decided to bite me in the leg. It was a rather small dog so it's all good, but he riped my pants and put a hole in them.

All things are good down here. Hope all is good with everyone. Thanks for everything Love you all.

¡Hola!

Things are going good down here. It was 5 months on Saturday!

This week was good, we got news about the husband of Maribel, one of our investigators that we baptized not to long ago, does not have records in the church so we get the opportunity to baptize him this next week.

Yesterday we had the ward conference of La Perla. It was really good the topic was on the importance of fathers and helping their children grow spiritually and physically. I understood most of the conference the Spanish is coming along but its still hard to get all things that people say and talk about but it's good.

Today we played soccer as a zone. It was fun like always.

Things are good. Hope things are good with you all as while.
Love you all.

Thanks you for everything.

Elder Templin

This week we did a family home evening with Gloria, Jesus, and their family and Alicia, Gerardo, and their family. We talked about the restoration and it went really good. We watched the short film of the restoration and played a game. It was fun. If anyone knows about any good activities or games for family home evenings will you let me know? Thanks

¡Hola!

Things are going good down here.

Today is the start of the next transfer cycle. This will be the 3rd cycle. Elder Medina and I are still going to be companions and still in the same area.

This week we had a conference with the whole mission on Friday. They told us the Hymn, scripture, theme, and vision of the mission. That's all the conference was for. After they told us everything we got the opportunity to talk with the missionaries from the South Mission.

This week we had baptisms but one needed more time with the goals that we had put with him and the others we could not find all week and they didn't come to church. We are hoping that all will go good this week and that we can baptize them this week.

The Pictures this week:
1 - One of the day that it was raining we were walking home and got really wet
2 - This is a picture of me cleaning the bathroom with my boots on. It's really clean now!
3- This is a picture of what the tacos and a torta look like. The tacos are "al pastor" which is just a marinated meat that is on a big rod that they cut it off of. They are really good.

Hope all is good with everyone. You all should write so I can hear from you.

Thanks for everything, keep on the path.

Thanks for everything. Love you all.

Tuesday we baptized the two families that had to go for special interveiws. I got to baptize all three of them that day. Gerardo, Alicia, y Maribel.

On Thursday it rained all day for the time we got home the night before until the next night. We got really wet. my shoes are still a little wet i had to use the others so i was not walking with wet shoes. Because of that day i bought some rain boots.

Sunday was fast sunday(5 down and 18 to go). After the services of Perla we had the baptism of Monica. Elder Madina got to do that one. With Monica that makes 10 for my mission so far. 7 for me, 2 for E. Medina, and 1 for the uncle of the Jasmin.

Today we had the opportunity to have a mulit zone conference with our new Mission President. President and Hermana Morales are form Tabasco Mexico. They have 5 hijos and 3 grandkids with one on the way. We were told about some changes that are taking place in the avtivities in the week. For now this is all that I know when I know more I will let you know.

¡Hola!

Everything is still going good down here.

The Rains have started everyday between 3 and 4, it starts raining and does not stop for a long time. My jacket that I brought works good.

This week was filled with fun trying to get all the baptismal interviews done. We ended up with 2 this week because 2 of the families needed to have special interviews with the Mission Presidnet. We got to spend 8-10 hrs in the Church this week with all the interviews and the 2 different baptizmal services because they were from both the wards. We are planning to baptize the 2 families that had the specail interviews this week, hopefully tomorrow, because they both passed their interviews.

There was not much else that happened this week but the baptisms. We worked this week to find more investigators to teach. We had 11 in the Chruch this week. The people that we have found are good and are keeping their commitments. They are progressing along the path.

Hope all is good with you all. Thanks for all and for being there. Love you all.

Thanks for the letters fill free to keep writing. Thanks for everything.

¡Hola!

Happy Father's day to all the Dads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The week was good.

We are half way through the cycle of transfers. This cycle has been good. We have been teaching more and people are listening and want to progress. We have 6 people set to be baptized this up coming week. We just have to get the interviews theis week and have them have no problems. It's a Mom of a part member family and 2 husbands and wifes.

The time has moved really fast. These 9 weeks in mexico have been faster then the ones in the MTC. Thanks for letting me know whats going on at home it really helps the time also.

Today as a district we went to the center of the city. We went to the exibit of Tutankamon, a exibit call "the fear", a big catholic church, and a street in the city that has a bunch of shops. The pictures are of these and one of the church. Everything in the exibits was in spanish so it was a little hard to understand everything but it was really cool to see all of the stuff that they had.

Thanks for being in my life and for everything that you all have done for me. Keep pushing on the path might be hard but the end goal is what we are all heading for. (The Celestial kingdom with our families) Love you all

Elder Templin
