¡Hola!

This week has been good and everything is going good down here.

This week we had our baptism for last week. Her name is Jessica and we have been teaching here for the past month. I got the opportunity to baptize her. After the ordinance she gave her testimony and it was really powerful. All in the room cried but Elder Medina and I. It was really nice to finally have someone that wanted to take the steps and enter in the path to return to our family in Heaven.

Things this week were good. On Sunday we had some nice experiences. The converts that we have in the ward "La Perla" took part in the meeting. Alicia and Gloria both gave talks. Gloria is getting a calling in Sunday school as a teacher. Jesus blessed the sacrament. Its cool to see them all strong and in the gospel receiving the blessings in their lives.

When we were going to get some of the investigators on Sunday we passed through a Tiangis and was a Book of Mormon in one of the stands. We didn't have time to see how much they were selling it for, but it was one of the older ones.

The time down here is fun and going fast this week is 7 months and 5 in Mexico. The time goes by fast when we have people in teaching and they are listening and receiving the blessing. The gospel is were we can receive all the Lord has for us when listen and do the things. I know that these blessings are real.

I love you all.

Thanks for all the loving words and letter. Love you all.

¡Hola!

Everything is going down here in Mexico.

Nothing really happened this week that was exciting .

On Wednesday we were teaching a family and when we entered into there house and started to teach we saw 2 photos on the wall that were really interesting. They were both church pictures. One of the 2nd coming and the other of Jesus in the Americas. They bought them both in a tiangis, the outside market. The pics let us start teaching about the BOM because it has the same photo of Jesus in the Americas.

Our baptism that we had for this week fell through, but she still wants to do it and it is set for this week. She is really strong and comes to church on her own, this week she brought her family.

This week in church we had lots of people just come to church and we were able to teach them in the 3rd hour and all 4 of them became new investigators that accepted their baptism date with out problems. The church saved the week, we were having a not so good week until Sunday and it all came together. This just shows that with work and patience all is possible with God.

At the end of sacrament of La Perla our new DL called(Elder Villagómez) and said that we had to be in the area of the ZLs to report at 5 our numbers for the week. We finished the meeting and were running after that. We ran home changed and ran to eat. we then went to catch the "Smurf" it's a big blue bus that took us the the area. When we got there we had to wait for everyone and then report. some of the elders had a baptism so there were about 20 elders for the service. After the baptismal service we had our zone meeting and we had to come up with goals for baptism for the rest of the cycle. We were some of the last elders to leave the room so we got to the cleaning closet to talk and pray about the numbers and what they should be for the cycle. That was different in the closet. After we all had our numbers we practiced some teaching things. The whole time after the baptismal service it was raining and it didn't stop until we were about home. It rained a lot and when we got to our street it was full of water and there was no other way. So we got our legs wet.

Thanks for all the support that you all give me. Hope everything is going good in your lives in all parts. Love you all.

Thanks for everything. Love you all so much.

¡Hola!

Everything is going good down here in Mexico.

The baptisms fell through for this week but there are a couple for this next week. Things are going good with finding people and teaching them. They seem to be listening more and fallowing the things that we teach. It's cool to see the people progress and find the happiness that this message brings to all. The change in the people is big in some cases.

This week we had divisions with two priests in La Perla. We were just able to work half day with them because of their schedules but it was fun. I was with one named Luis. We had to citas to check but they weren't there and a reference that was not there either. We got the opportunity to look for people and work. Because of school starting down here last week it makes contacting a little harder because the people are going to school or going to pick up their kids at school. It really shows who wants to listen and who doesn't

Thursday this week i had the opportunity to try out the day without power Because during the night some one stole the cable to sell the copper that is in the cable. We had to study, eat, exercise, and get ready using flashlights. The day before the gas went out to heat the water also so that made it fun too.

Sunday I had the opportunity to talk in La Perla ward. It's a lot different in Spanish. I had one of the talks for the July Liahona that was about the parachuting firefighters and the radio not working. It was a cool talk that shows that we need to move for ourselves and then call for help through prayer and searching the scriptures. It ended up being good.

The picture are form our last district class. We were together for 12 weeks with out changes. We had pizza and it was really fun.

Everything else this week was normal. Wake up, workout, shower, eat, study, work in the street, come home, eat, and sleep. That's the day that i have all the time. It's fun and the time goes be fast when we are teaching and having a good time.

Thanks for being my family. Hope all is good in your lives.

Love you all,

¡Hola!

Everything is going good down here.

This week was changes. We hard a big surprise, our DL told E. Medina the changes when they were in exchanges. He said that Elder Medina was going to go but Sunday when the APs called the ZLs and they told the DL everything changed. Elder Mendina and I are still going to be here working together in the same area for at least 6 more weeks. It's going to be 6 months to together after this.

These past few weeks after we had exchanges have been really busy. We have had a lot of new people and lots of lessons. We have 5 or so investigators that are set for this next week if everything goes good with interviews and teaching them. And we are set with more after that. We starting early some of the days this week at 930 which made it a long day and lost of walking.

Every time that we see some of the members they are saying that i'm still looking more and more thinner. but I think that it's a good thing.

The Photos
14 - today we had our last activity with the zone that is all from the east. we went and played soccer and basketball then went to a converts house and had fish. I will send pics of those in a separate email. But is was really good.
4,7,8,11 -sense we thought that E. Medina was going to have changes we went and said bye to some members and Alicia and Gerardo. So these are some pics of them.

Everything is good down here hope everyone is good. Hope that you all know that our Father in Heaven loves us and that he has a plan for everyone of us and that it is perfect. i know that we all have the opportunity to return to live with him and our family if we do the things we need to return.

I love you all

¡Hola!

Everything is good down here.

This week we had a Mutli-Zone conference. We had it on Friday and one of the area 70 come and talked to us. Elder Benjamen de Hoyos. He and his wife talked with the Pres and his wife. They talked about how we can better use members and teach so people can know about the atonement. It was a really good conference, but long 10am to 3 pm.

This week instead of buying tacos we tried to make some. we bought some meat and cooked in the house it went alright but its better to buy, It's a lot easier and tastes better also.

Yesterday we had Stake conference. We had to divide to try and get all the investigators. We got a few but not all. The conference was really good also the talked about the family and the temple and how that is where families can be the happiest. One of the other Area 70 was there and Pres. Morales.

Last Monday we played soccer as a zone and we had two teams of 7 and then another team of some Mexicans that played also. I got to play for them as there goalie we won a lot also. it was really fun.
