August 28th

¡Hola!

Everything is going good down here in Mexico.

The baptisms fell through for this week but there are a couple for this next week. Things are going good with finding people and teaching them. They seem to be listening more and fallowing the things that we teach. It's cool to see the people progress and find the happiness that this message brings to all. The change in the people is big in some cases.

This week we had divisions with two priests in La Perla. We were just able to work half day with them because of their schedules but it was fun. I was with one named Luis. We had to citas to check but they weren't there and a reference that was not there either. We got the opportunity to look for people and work. Because of school starting down here last week it makes contacting a little harder because the people are going to school or going to pick up their kids at school. It really shows who wants to listen and who doesn't

Thursday this week i had the opportunity to try out the day without power Because during the night some one stole the cable to sell the copper that is in the cable. We had to study, eat, exercise, and get ready using flashlights. The day before the gas went out to heat the water also so that made it fun too.

Sunday I had the opportunity to talk in La Perla ward. It's a lot different in Spanish. I had one of the talks for the July Liahona that was about the parachuting firefighters and the radio not working. It was a cool talk that shows that we need to move for ourselves and then call for help through prayer and searching the scriptures. It ended up being good.

The picture are form our last district class. We were together for 12 weeks with out changes. We had pizza and it was really fun.

Everything else this week was normal. Wake up, workout, shower, eat, study, work in the street, come home, eat, and sleep. That's the day that i have all the time. It's fun and the time goes be fast when we are teaching and having a good time.

Thanks for being my family. Hope all is good in your lives.

Love you all,

Love,
Elder Templin
